Disappointing Overall Stay
I was very excited to stay in this beautiful hotel, but unfortunately we have been disappointed. The first room that was given to us was straight in front the elevator (even when I requested to be far away from it). The room had the view to a back alley full of AC systems that were extremely noisy. We were happy that the staff accommodated our request to change rooms to one much calmer. The second room was great. It was way more spacious, decoration was beautiful, bathroom was also very nice. The cleanliness of the room was spotless, and the bed extremely comfortable. Bathroom had everything needed - (it was missing some space for our toiletries). There is no parking at the hotel, but there are a few parking options walking distance.
Unfortunately, we didn't have hot water for the duration of our stay, and it was a massive inconvenience. We called reception, and they assured a maintenance person was looking into the situation, to give it 10 minutes for hot water to come back. We waited 30 minutes, turned on the water again and after 5 minutes of wasted running water, it was still as cold. We had to take a cold shower that night. We went about our night, celebrated the NYE. Coming back to the hotel, we wanted to shower before going to bed, but still no hot water (we are talking 6 hours after our complaint). The following morning (14h after complaining), still no hot water. We also had a $25 credit to use for breakfast, but most of the items were not available, we waited 30 minutes for our order to then be told that what we wanted was also out of stock! We decided to cancel our order out of frustration. There was only one person at the kitchen... Extremely disorganized/lack of staff considering the hotel was full for NYE and a college football game happening. We decided to talk to front desk at our checkout and get a refund on our room. Front desk was only willing to give us 20% discount, which we refused. We requested to talk to the manager that was not there yet. They gave us his business card. We called at 1:15 pm (they informed us his shift started at 1 pm), but he was not there yet. At around 1:30 pm, we received an email that our room had been fully refunded, which we appreciate. But then, they decided to revert back all the charges, and only apply the 20% discount. We truly wish our experience was different, as we liked the hotel, but we won't come back.

I will definitely be staying...
I had pastries for breakfast. Those were amazing. Light fluffy and delicious
The room was a bit dusty. Not a deal breaker or anything bad. I just had to wipe off a few things before putting my things away. No biggie
