Everybody was very sweet!
I did not appreciate the fact that I WAS NOT made aware of the "Damages Security Deposit" that would be charged to my account until AFTER I entered my card information and booked the room and ONLY when I received a confirmation email was then made aware of the charge after scrolling two thirds of the way down to the bottom of the screen where I was fortunate enough to have seen the fine print... Furthermore, when asked about the charge at the front desk and how long after checking out i should expect the deposit to be returned to my card, I was given only vague answers and somewhat of a runaround. So its now been a week since I checked out of my room and returned home and I still have not received ANY notice from my bank, booking.com or Sonesta Suites regarding the return of my deposit or the receipt that I asked for upon checkout and was told that I BOOKING.COM would be emailing me one. To this current day, I have currently been charged $224.00 for a room that I signed a receipt that said I was paying $112.00... so I'm curious how that works is all!? And please just let me make one thing clear, I didn't even sleep in the bed or use the kitchen sink or shower. I sat on the couch and watched TV for 9hours, ate the complimentary breakfast and checked out so there isn't any reason for my deposit to be withheld and I'm not a smoker either.
