Great short stay. Thanks to all who helped - its appreciated.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Helped with booking a taxi for the return. Advised of places to visit. Breakfast was fine served by friendly staff.
The stairs leading up to the entrance. These seemed to be at a an angle that seemed you were always having to lean forward to continue going up steps. Maybe they are very used.

Very good
I liked the building, the outstanding kindness and service of the staff, the excellent location, close to public transport.
The only thing i didnt like was the afacilities was not exactly as in the confirmation. Specifically there was no kettle which we would have expected. Bur that s not a big problem, overall everything was fine

Had a good time but Naples is very dirty and edgy
Room was lovely staff friendly and helpful
Entrance a little intimidating and dingy but once you get into the hotel it is good. Shower head needs a clean but linens and towels were lovely

An experience of the real Naples in a unique historical setting.
The refurbishment of an old building is exceptional. Large room, large bed, high ceilings, marble floors throughout. Excellent air conditioning. Plenty of towels. Breakfast room with centuries old ceiling painting (being restored) very spacious and opulent. Staff warm and friendly. Overall we enjoyed the experience, particularly the location and the faded grandeur of the property. We felt we had experienced the real Naples which you would never experience in a 5 star hotel. Local facilities are good: supermarkets, bars, restaurants and Metro station all close by. If youre fairly mobile we thoroughly recommend this unique hotel.
There is a lack of staff presence to whom we could report any issues most of the time: we had to search the hotel ourselves for toilet paper which we found in a cupboard, thank goodness. Unfortunately the fridge in our room did not work. Some minor issues of cleanliness: the toilet was very grubby under the rim and below the waterline. The breakfast was quite meagre: coffee and a croissant. We managed the 50 or so steps to the second floor but others might find this difficult. As staff are not in attendance 24 hours a day on checking out we left our key in the desk without being able to thank the staff for our stay, which we we felt bad about. Perhaps there could be a key box outside for early morning departures (we had to leave the hotel entrance unlocked).
