Horrible staff, argumentive, poorly trained
I was double charged twiced by this hotel, I prepaid on bookings.com and was charged a second time at check in. I brought it to the girl that was at the check out counter, I was told it was being hold until checkout and it would fall off in a few days. I checked out on Tuesday and I went back on Sunday because the balance posted to my account. I went back with my statement from my bank that I displayed on my phone, showing one charge from bookings.com and one from best Western for $171.88 and one for $171.87. Both girls at the front stated i was only charged once by best Western and were not willing to help address the issue. The older lady had an attitude because she kept telling me there's nothing she can do because in her system I was only charged once, I requested she get a manager or supervisor, the girl that came was the girl that was present when I was checking out that I initially told about the problem. She is not pleasant to deal with and seem like she had an attitude as soon as she went to the desk. She proceeded to tell me the same thing that she told me almost a week ago and I told her that this time both payments posted to my account. I showed her the statement on my chase app that's shows both transactions and what she did was look up my account saw only a single charge, then told me she can't do anything because there's only 1 charge from best Western. They gave me no option to get my money back other than to go to my bank and file a claim which is crazy for them to say that because I'm showing them the charges, my bank did not double charge me best Western did. What made it worst I left because I got tired of arguing with them. I contacted best Western customer service line and they still were not able to get me a answer on my refund. The rep stated that they are not able to view the billing information which is crazy because I called the customer service line.
