We will NEVER stay at this hotel again, we will stick with Heritage Inn.
The room was exceptionally clean. It was well laid out. This is all I can say, the rest was rather poor.
The receptionist was one of the rudest humans I have ever encountered. We arrived at 10:20pm ish. There were 2 people checking in ahead of us. She was helping a man and was unable to read the numbers on his credit card and did not have a card reader. He had to leave to go put money on another card, we know this because she announced it to the rest of us. She then began helping the next person in line and while doing that the phone rang. She answered it and talked loudly to another guest in the hotel about a cologne cap he had lost and how drunk he was. She talked to him for at least 10 minutes, finally telling him she had other customers and would have to go. She then finished helping the lady ahead of us, in the mean time the man had returned with his new credit card, so she helped him. She then told us that she did not have a reservation for us, I had the paper copy of the confirmation. She took it from me and said she could give us a room but we would have to pay again, I had paid online. She said we would have to contact Bookings.com ourselves to get assistance. She yelled at me for taking the paper out of her hand, at this point if we could have gotten out money back we would have left and went down the road to the hotel we have stayed in before. While I was trying to contact Bookings.com she called her manager who told her to call customer service. She did. The told her to check her "virtual" payments and magically she found out reservation. She apologized and sent us to our room which was in another building, but she did not tell us which building. It was 11:00pm before we got to our room after a 3 hour drive. We were exhausted. The bed was as hard as a rock, sleeping on the floor might have been more comfortable.
