Passable
The breakfast and morning staff were great.
When we arrived at the motel, the evening receptionist asked for my i.d. and card and then told me my card was declined and I told her the total amount of the stay was on the card, and I informed her that I was charged for half of the stay prior to arriving and she told me that I was charged for 1 night. I preceded to tell her to charge me for the other night, and she then told me that I needed to pay for the total stay plus what I had already been charged that morning. When I informed her that I was not aware of that, she then pointed to a sign on the counter and said "well we have it posted right here." That's when I got irritated and told her that I was not from there, hints the motel stay, and how would I have seen that not being from there. She told me, with attitude, well then I guess you must not stay in motels often because all motels do that. I replied with, "Yes, I actually do, and that I've never had this situation with booking, which is who I always book with." She then said well I can't give you a room and I said well then refund what you took and she said if I decide not to stay, that money belongs to the motel or pay with cash. It was very embarrassing not to mention that I had to get a family member to send me money on PayPal since I didn't have the full amount anymore. My stay was over $260 for the total stay, and I was being charged that plus a little over $140 extra, and she told me the only way i would get that back is after I checkout. Other than that whole situation, the other staff was great. We also had our toilet back up, and we had to step out for a bit (over an hour), and we were told they would send someone right up to fix it. Needless to say, we returned, and it had not been fixed. We saw the room cleaning staff and asked them and then it got fixed.
