Overall we loved our stay in Htel Croix Baragnon and would stay there again.
The 2 rooms we stayed in matched exactly to the descriptions advertised and both were very clean and comfortable. Our request that our rooms be close together was facilitated also. The (same) receptionist we met upon both arriving and leaving was extremely pleasant and helpful. We didn't avail of housekeeping services due to our short 2-night stay but everything we needed was stocked well in our rooms. We also didn't avail of breakfast so can't comment about that aspect.
The ensuite didn't have an active extractor fan (albeit there was a physical extractor) that may be important given that there is no window in the ensuite. The shower was at a higher lever from the ensuite floor so you had to be quite careful stepping in and out etc, and as a result the shower head in its highest position reached shoulder high at best (but could be adjusted of course). Same with the toilet, it was on a raised narrow step so care needed.

Very basic hotel in city centre.
Great rooftop views from the room. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast with fresh bread and croissants. Location good for city walking. Receptionist was friendly and welcoming and happy to help with luggage up the stairs.
Coffee was weak and little choice to avoid eating carbohydrates. Room very basic with no tea or coffee making facilities and paper cups for water with no water bottles provided. Very small soap bar in cramped shower room. The shower holder was broken. Sound proofing of room was poor.

Photos of the room are very deceptive. Its a very very old property with foam ceiling tiles and yellowed plastic light switches etc. Bed was not very comfortable

A Cozy Stay in the Center of Old Toulouse
I spent one night here. The staff was very welcoming, the location was in a pleasant area not far from the heart of the ville. The room was clean and charming. The staff was very lovely and kind.

Pleasant
The central location and the area is good ( even though there are lots of road works lately). The staff is helpful and friendly. The room was clean.
There is no coffee/ tea or water bottle in the room. They do serve breakfast in the morning for a fee but having coffee in the room is really a plus in my opinion. No sound isolation and the AC/ heater is pretty noisy. The check out is early 11am.
