Good, venue was a mile...
Location was good. Bed was comfortable, Kettle and drinks in the room. Felt secure. It was clean.
No water out of the hot tap in the sink in the room. No toilet roll in the shared bathroom in the morning. Curtains hanging off the rail. Bit noisy of in the morning vans unloading.

Good location, standard hotel, does...
The location was great, opposite a spoons and has a little off-license right below it that's open till late so not a problem there. For the money we paid it was a soft bed and a warm room the staff were really nice and helpful getting to the rooms which actually had AC which was a nice surprise so that'd be good in the summer. Showers and pressure were good, were hot when you told them to be which you don't always get in hotels. If you're just visiting for the night and want to go out on the Oxford town highly recommend it for the money, does the job.
The bar downstairs was loud and audible throughout the whole hotel (we had a room on the 1st and top floor) and doesn't close till 1am (it is a nice bar, lovely cocktails) but don't expect an early night without noise cancelling earphones. Rooms could do with some TLC aesthetic-wise but does the job. Also worth mentioning lots of stairs, don't recommend if you have issues with that. One of the door handles came off in one of the rooms, it went back on, but that shouldn't have happened.
