Visitors will enjoy browsing the shops at the nearby Lakeland Square mall. A variety of restaurants can be found in the surrounding area. The city of Lakeland has been the spring training home of the Detroit Tigers baseball team since 1934. This Florida city has more than 38 lakes, offering recreational opportunities for almost anyone. There is also a golf course nearby.

Only thing my husband and I liked was the bed.
What we didn't like was there was never any staff in the lobby when they were needed. Upon us checking out we had to wait until 9:15am to turn our room keys in. I've never seen a motel ran like that. Staff should be available around the clock all the time.

Was checked in late due...
Staff were friendly.
The purpose of the trip was a get away for my daughter and I after a traumatic incident in our hometown. I booked a place with a swimming pool for her to enjoy herself and so I could just relax. The pool was closed and I was told it would be fixed the following morning. I drove 2 hours to the beach the next day. When we returned thinking she could swim in the pool, it was still closed and “maybe the pool guy would come in the morning”. This is Easter weekend. I checked out the next day when the pool still wasn’t fixed. And was not offered a refund after I asked for one.
