Acceptable for what I needed,...
- Breakfast was included in the room price. It was nothing to rave about, and consisted daily of freshly scrambled eggs, bread/English muffins/bagels, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, sausage, or bacon, and you have the ability to make your own waffle.
- The staff was very friendly, and the room rates were decent, compared to other properties. The room was a basic room, which was fairly small compared to other places I have stayed for the same amount of money per night. My goal was to take care of some family business, while in New York.the hotel room was just a place for me to sleep and shower, so it was perfect for me in that regard. There were numerous multicultural food eateries within a short drive/close walking distance from this location, which was good.
- Management was attentive and got rid of several people who smoked in their rooms (which wafted into my room). These other “guests” also were loud and obnoxious until 3:30 am, which prompted several noise complaints. I was happy to see management immediately removed the source of the problem.
-The DIRECTV receiver, switched television on at random hours, and indicated a software upgrade was necessary. The upgrade was completed, but it never “took”, and repeatedly did this strange activity at random times.
- The bathroom was very cramped, with a bathtub and toilet only. The sink was located immediately inside the main room entry door, which was strange.
- The parking area was very cramped, with large pillars between parking spaces. I could see where cars would collide with these, if you had a larger type vehicle.
