Don't stay downtown.
The only thing I liked was that it was easy to book a room, in that they had openings.
First, When searching for a room, while I can't remember the website I read, it did say that there was on and offsite parking. For parking, the only option was directly across the street which is $62.00 for 24 hours. The city of Chicago surely knows how to money grab. Secondly, I stood at the counter for literally 30 minutes with absolutely no acknowledgment from the desk clerk waiting to check in after having made a prepaid reservation. She was giving a map tour of the entire city to a couple. The guy looked at me twice however the clerk did not. I even did the whole clearing of the throat gesture as well as pulling my license and CC out and tapping them on the counter in impatience. It was cold and raining and after traveling several hours, my wife was extremely tired and growing more frustrated by the minute. Third, I still have not received my deposit reimbursement from the hotel.

We had to move after...
The location was very convenient, and the front lobby was nice.
The rooms were small and dingy. The desk had embedded chargers, but all of them were loose and none of them worked. The room was comically small, as was the bathroom.
